Cellulose Gum

Pharmaceutical quality, produces a clear gel when dispersed into water.

I love this stuff! Just a little takes any water soluble ingredient soft and spreadable.

Opens up a lot of possibilities for those who don’t like to use synthetic gel formulations – use it to make skin and hair care gels and serums.

NOTE: Cellulose Gum is used as a supporting ingredient for it's glide and smoothing properties in many recipes but will not make a suitable hair or body gel used as a large percentage of a recipe because it will peel as it dries.

Extremely easy to use, just pour it in the liquid of choice (room temperature) and mix. I like to use a cappuccino mixer to do small batches.

Fantastic in face serums.

Usage Rate: 0.1% – 2%

Inci Name: Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose

Light weight powder – off white colour.

WATER SOLUBLE - not compatible with catonics.

Love this product, I've worked with many polysaccharides but this is my first time working with cellulose. It is a wonderful addition to my skin care line.
